School Tours ~ Fall 2008

School Tours at Parlee Farms are both fun and educational! We offer three types of school tours for preschool through grade 3 from September 16 through October 24 -

APPLE TOUR: 1/4 bag for apple picking from our dwarf trees plus all the activities listed below. This tour takes about 1 hour to complete.
Cost: $5.25 for each child (minimum 22 paying people per reservation).

PUMPKIN TOUR: Choose a small sugar pumpkin and we'll give a bag to each child to carry that special pumpkin home! Also included are all the activities listed below. This tour takes about 1 hour to complete.
Cost: $5.25 for each child (minimum 22 paying people per reservation).

COMBINATION (Apple & Pumpkin) TOUR: Includes all the activities of the Apple Tour and the Pumpkin Tour. This tour takes about 1-1/4 hours to complete.
Cost: $5.75 for each child (minimum 22 paying people per reservation).

In addition to fruit picking, all the tours include the following:
* Hayride around the farm,
* Feed for Annie's 'Goats in the Trees' and our other goats, sheep, bunnies, and chickens,
* Access to the Hay Play Area,
* Use of our Picnic Area,
* As our "Thank You" to the teachers, Paid School Staff (1 for every 10 students) can pick the same amount as the students without charge; and
* Chaperones are free; if they want to pick, then they pick and pay the same as the children.
